Shri Ranglal Jamuda IAS, Commissioner, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) is from 1981 batch of the Indian Administrative Service (Orissa Cadre). He Graduated from the Ravenshaw College, Cuttak (Utkal University) and did his post Graduation in Business Administration from the University of Hull (U.K).
Shri Jamuda took over as Commissioner, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan on September 1, 2004. He has held many important assignments in the Govt. of Orissa during his long career. He worked in power Sector for about four years (1993 to 1997) and played a vital role in the Power Sector reforms. Incidentally Orissa became the pioneer in the Power Sector Reforms in our country. He also worked as Higher Education Secretary for more then two years and as Revenue Secretary for about two years and eight months. During his tenure in these two vital Departments of Govt. of Orissa he initiated and successfully implemented many reforms. Considering the definite advantage of e-Governance he took bold initiatives for computerization of land records. The Record of Right (ROR) of an individual land holder is very crucial for a variety of activities. Such RORs can be readily accessed by the land holders by visiting the website of the Revenue Department.
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan as an organization has tremendous potential for pace setting activities besides playing a significant role in the field of e-Governance. Since the total enrolment of students has already exceeded nine lakh, these young KVians are in a position to play the leading role in shaping the destiny of the nation.

Dr. UN Singh, Joint Commissioner (Academics), Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan holds Master's Degree in English and History. He is also a Ph.D in Educational Management. His thesis was on "Decision making Strategies in Secondary Schools". He worked as Principal of KV Lamphelpat, Imphal, Bailey Road, Patna and Embassy of India, Kathmandu and worked as Assistant Commissioner of Ahmedabad and Patna Regions. He joined as Deputy Commissioner (Academics) on 31st December, 2004 and as Joint Commissioner (Academics) on 31st March, 2006. He is known for his innovative ideas in education.

JOINT COMMISSIONER (ADMINISTRATION)
Smt. Pragya Richa Srivastava, Joint Commissioner (Administration), Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan holds Master’s Degree in Modern Indian History from Delhi University. Smt Srivastava joined the Indian Police Service in 1991. She has worked at several posts in the service and handed very important assignments. She also served as Suptd. of Police in the office of State of Economic Offence Investigation Bureau. She has taken over as Joint Commissioner (Administration) on August 16, 2004. . Smt Srivastava is in the forefront of the effort to enrich the traditions of transparency, objectivity and efficiency in the Administration of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. |
